SWEDES WILL TEACH RUSSIAN RAILWAY SPECIALISTS

The memorandum on cooperation was signed by President of RZD Vladimir Yakunin and President of Stockholm School of Economics Lars Bergman. The ceremony took place in the research and technological center of the Oktyabrskaya Railway. Vladimir Yakunin, President of Russian Railways: "Why are these Swedes? They are dynamic. Besides, they are neighbors and are always the first in our country. That is why our choice is obvious." Drakkar was chosen as a symbol of the new educational program. This is a combat ship of the Vikings that has terrified the residents of Europe for several centuries. Professors from Stockholm School of Economics were given awards in the form of jubilee medals (170 years of railways). It is expected that education according to the Swedish system will increase the human resources potential of RZD significantly already a few years later.
