| YEVGENY REDIN IS THE ONLY PERSON FROM SOUTH URALS REGION IN THE PRESIDENTIAL HUNDRED |
| The website www.kremlin.ru published the "top hundred"
of the reserve of the governance staff under the aegis of the President
of Russia. Deputy governor of Chelyabinsk Region Yevgeny Redin was included
into it for the second time already. For the first time Redin was put on this list on February 16 of 2009 as senior deputy chair of the legislative assembly of Chelyabinsk Region. At that moment he was having the post of deputy governor of the region for social issues for three weeks. Information: Yevgeny Vladimirovich Redin was born on June 15 of 1969 in Magnitogorsk. In 1993, he graduated from the Magnitogorsk mining and metallurgical institute with specialty of "Metal processing by pressure." After graduation from the institute he worked at the Magnitogorsk Metal Works (MMK). In 1997, he became director of the department for expert examination of deals of MMK. Since 2000, he was director of the control and audit department. In 2000, he was elected member of the parliament of Magnitogorsk and its deputy chair. In 1997, he passed additional training in the academy of economics of the President of Russia with specialty of "Management." In 2003, he graduated from the Moscow financial academy of the federal government with specialty of "Finance and credit." He is a graduate of Stockholm School of Economics. Since 2005, he has been member of the legislative assembly of Chelyabinsk Region and chair of the committee for industrial policy, fuel and energy sector, transport and communication and senior deputy chair of the legislative assembly. Since February of 2009, he is deputy governor of Chelyabinsk Region and member of the government of Chelyabinsk Region. When governor of Chelyabinsk Region Mikhail Yuryevich took this place (on April 22 of 2010) Redin retained his post. He does sports: mountain skiing in winter and windsurfing in summer. |
