New appointment of SSE Russia Alumni

It was an employee of the Communication Ministry who reported about quitting of Telkov to ComNews. According to him, the major part of employees left the department after the director. 
Yesterday, representative of the press service of the Communication Ministry confirmed the departure of Telkov and remarked that acting director of the department was not appointed yet.
In turn, the source of ComNews close to the ministry added that the official left his post recently. Along with this, the source denied the information voiced by the employee of the ministry that majority of DIP employees quit together with Telkov. The source of ComNews stressed, "All key employees are on their places." According to the source, the former official "will keep working in the communication sector and nearly in the company where he has worked before."
Telkov came to the Communication Ministry to the post of director of DIP in January of 2014 and until then he worked as director for technical operations in Теlе2 Russia (see report of ComNews of January 15 of 2014).
Press secretary of Теlе2 Irina Rybakova reported to ComNews that since January of 2015 Telkov had position of deputy technical director of the company. Along with this, yesterday he was indicated as director of DIP at the site of the Communication Ministry still.

Alexei Telkov was born in 1981. In 2004, he graduated from the Moscow state technical university named after Bauman with specialty "Radio electronic systems."
In the period between 2002 and 2006, he worked for VimpelCom as engineer, head of a group and director of a department. In 2006, he moved to Теlе2 Russia to the post of manager of technical projects. In 2011, he was appointed on the post of director for technical operations. Since January of 2014, he was director of the department of infrastructure projects of the Communication Ministry. On this post he replaced Dmitry Alkhazov who became deputy minister in November of 2013. Since January of 2015, he I deputy technical director of Tele2 Russia.
He has MBA degree of Stockholm School of Economics and free command of the English language.
