ANDREI SOKOLSKY WAS APPOINTED SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF MDM BANK

MDM Bank announced appointment of Andrei Sokolsky on the post of vice president – head of the section for development of MDM Bank. Sokolsky will be responsible for corporate, small and medium, retail businesses, marketing and product policy and development of business processes. On this position he will also be curator of activity of all territorial banks: Urals, Southern, Siberian and Stolitsa bank. The candidacy of Sokolsky will be submitted to the Central Bank for approval of his appointment on position of senior deputy CEO of MDM Bank. This is said in a press release of the bank.
Before coming to MDM Bank Sokolsky worked for Alfa Bank for more than seven years. Lately, he had the post of senior vice president and deputy head of "Retail business" section," head of the consumer crediting business and strategic partnerships of the bank. Between 2011 and 2012, Sokolsky was also member of the Board of Directors of Sentinel Credit Management, the leading Russian full-cycle collector agency being a part of Alfa Group.
Between 2003 and 2004, Sokolsky was curator of development of business with retail chains in Home Credit and Finance Bank and was responsible for determination of strategic directions of distribution, management of the agent sales network, trade marketing, product range and pricing. Between 2011 and 2003, he was regional manager (Russia) of the Russian representative office of Thomson Consumer Electronics. Between 1997 and 2001, he was manager for relations with the key clients in the Russian representative office of Philips. Between 1994 and 1997, he worked for Russian-Finnish joint venture Kalinka-Stokmann.
Sokolsky has higher legal education and degree of Executive MBA General Management of Stockholm School of Economics.
