Associated with Hanken – the Swedish School of Economics and Business Administration in Helsinki, Finland – Pekka brings into executive education a rich and varied experience from management consulting.
During his 13 year tenure at the big consulting internationals in Scandinavia and London – Boston Consulting, Bain & Co. and the likes – his work focused on customer and sales strategies, customer-oriented change initiatives, key account and relationship management programs. More recently, he has been involved in creating and testing approaches and tools to manage customer relationships and customer bases as from a financial perspective.
To complement his corporate development work, Pekka is also active within the academic community. Working with internationally recognized though leaders, his main research interests lie in understanding value co-creation - a topic very much on the agenda of the marketing and sales community- as well as financially-driven approaches to managing customers. Pekka´s work is frequently published in leading international academic journals.
In addition to his consulting and academic pursuits, Pekka is a sought-after speaker, corporate trainer, and executive educator at Scandinavian and European EMBA and corporate programs.
