Professor Lars Strannegård new president of SSE

“I am enthusiastic and proud to be entrusted to lead SSE together with its excellent employees and students. We will now move forward with tasks to bolster SSE’s position as a top international business school. Our key task is to contribute to sustainable development in the business world and society at large, through research as well as the education of leaders and innovators for the future,” says Lars Strannegård. Strannegård has been Professor of Business Administration and holds the Bo Rydin and SCA Chair in Business Administration, Leadership. In addition, he has served as vice president of SSE since 2012. Strannegård has also been a visiting scholar at Stanford University and professor at Uppsala University. Professor Strannegard also holds a number of key positions in international research and business development centers, and an active figure for the development of the sphere of art in Sweden.
