The SSE Russia supported Women Influence Forum SPb - 2020

The second International “Women's Influence Forum SPb – 2020” took place on 1 March at the St. Petersburg Hotel. This event is held annually as part of the Women Influence Community movement in different cities around the world, including Brussels, Paris, Moscow and St. Petersburg. This year WIF in St. Petersburg has been supported by the Stockholm School of Economics in Russia.

The forum organizers divided the discussions into six panels to reflect a variety of different images of a modern woman: Creator, Entrepreneur, Citizen, Mother, Professional and Muse. 

Famous women – the representatives of business and government, science and art, charitable and non-profit organizations - shared their stories of influence with each other. The main guest of the forum was the founder of Women Influence Community and CEO of Alchemist Agency (USA) Joynicol Martinez.

Gateway LLC, and a student of SSE Executive MBA GM20 Program at the Stockholm School of Economics in Russia. Her speech was about her personal experience in creating and implementing employee programs and social projects at the Pulkovo airport. Her presentation was an excellent confirmation that the opportunities for women with energy and desire to change the reality around them really exist. 

Colourful presentations followed one another. Confident, determined and persistent businesswomen shared their stories of professional and personal success from morning till late evening. The day ended with a dinner where the organizers and participants of WIF SPb summed up the forum, not forgetting to discuss plans for the future: Women Influence Forum - 2021 promises to be no less compelling.
