Seminar of Dr. Anders Liljenberg, Dean of SSE Russia “Ten trustworthy topical tendencies of marketing”


The school season was opened at the seminar of Dr. Anders Liljenberg, dean of SSE Russia “10 trustworthy topical tendencies of marketing”, that toke place on September 1st at 19:00 at the SSE Russia class in St. Petersburg.

Despite its intuitively straightforward nature, the topic of marketing is highly problematic. Not least in our days. And not least in Russia. Departing in a number of tendencies which characterize marketing in our days’ business world, this seminar sets out to analyze which understanding of which core aspects of marketing that are crucial to grasp in order to move successfully in the market landscape here at hand.

Dr. Anders Liljenberg, a professor of Marketing at the Stockholm School of Economics. After graduating from the Stockholm School of Economics and the University of Bocconi in Milan, he was working for a few years in business, mainly in educational and pharmaceutical fields. On his return to Stockholm School of Economics he defended his doctorate thesis, simultaneously engaged in consulting in marketing. Anders worked as a freelance researcher at the University of New York and the University of California in Berkeley. He has published several articles in “Austrian Economic School Review” and “American Journal of economics and sociology”. His field of special scientific interest is markets functionality and, in particular, the influence of “consumer business.” From September 2006 — Dean of Stockholm School of Economics Russia.
